Premium

Pipoke has two premium tiers and two billing cadences. The four SKUs are the only premium products. There is no lifetime tier.

Pipoke runs on Octra Devnet today. Any fee, price, or limit referred to here is a contract setting chosen for testing. Every one is owner-settable, and mainnet values will be different. These docs describe how the mechanics work, not what the numbers are.

Durations are measured in Octra epochs (half a second each). All four are contract settings on PipokeCore, subject to on-chain governance.

POKE-orange glow renders on Premium profiles. Gold glow renders on Premium+. The glow is a client-side render of the on-chain tier value; you cannot fake it.

#Purchase

A purchase is one transaction: purchase_premium(tier, cadence) on PipokeCore. The contract pulls the POKE from your wallet, sets your tier, and sets the expiry epoch.

If your previous tier has not expired, the new purchase stacks: the new duration adds to the remaining time. If your previous tier has expired, the new purchase starts from the current epoch.

#Expiry

When your tier expires, the glow disappears and your bio cap and post cap fall back to the free tier. Posts you wrote at the longer caps stay where they are; you just cannot publish a new 150,000-character post until you renew.

The expiry is a hard epoch number. The Pipoke app shows a banner a few days before expiry so you have time to renew.
